Write a methodology about how to build a computational model of the knee and the implant used in total knee arthroplasty. The surface models are obtained from ScanIP are then imported into Geomagic Wrap 2021 so that they can be made into solid models, this was achieved by using non-uniform rational basis splines (NURBS). The implant (baseplate and stem) and tibial cone had insufficient details and quality for modelling and so they were created in Solidworks instead. once assembled they are imported into abaqus for FEA.
