Expect to write 2 -3 pages for the exam. Your answer should be in essay format; write complete sentences and properly address the question. Students must directly reference course materials in their answer by quoting each of the following in their answer (lecture notes, book information, videos, and online discussions) to inform their discussion of the question(s); use all four of these areas to address the questions and give examples to demonstrate concepts that fully explain your answer(s). This exam covers Chapters 8 and 9 along with the Conclusion; you should only use materials from these chapters and related materials for this exam.

This section was about “doing” politics/political participation. Discuss your own political involvement, specifically two areas where you have done something and two areas where you feel you should be involved more. Address this using Chapters 8, 9, and the Conclusion. Incorporate examples using the lecture notes, in-class discussion, and the Brooks book at least once each.
