(a) You select one of the three books to review.
(b) While you review the book, identify a few (2/3/4) interesting issues/ideas that you can
relate (question/problematize/analyze/expand) to the theories, ideas, concepts, practices,
realities that you are learning in the course.
(c) Critically analyze the issues that you have identified; bring your own perspectives and
thoughts to the discussion.
(d) write a 10/12 page paper (double-spaced)
(e) you are supposed to use one of the three books; if you want to review all three books,
please get my approval in advance; If you want to review a book other than these three books,
you need to get my prior approval;
(f) while writing your review paper, if you cite other works, you must include them in the list of
references.
