The soundtrack/Playlist should consist of 10 of your choosing; the songs may come from the same genre or different genres. The soundtrack could he all R&B songs or K-pop, Christian music or some combination of several different genres. Songs maybe instrumental or have lyrics. DO NOT PRESENT A PRE-EXISTING SOUNDTRACK/PLAYLIST. FOR EXAMPLE, DO NOT PRESENT THE SOUNDTRACK TO A MOVIE ADAPTATION AS YOUR OWN.
At a minimum, please give the song title and artist for each song. If you’d like you can provide a link to a video of the song from YouTube.
As part of the liner notes, you should outline what theme or mood you hope to create with these songs. How do you want the audience to feel about Medea (the play)? Songs should be clearly connected to specific moments in the play important objects from the play, or major characters.
The songs should encourage the listeners to think or feel a particular way; be sure to explain what ideas or feelings you hope to invoke and why. When explaining your choices, you will want to discuss how the sound (voice and instruments) and, in the case of songs with lyrics, how the words of the song connects to the play.
