1. Discuss the mechanism of action, therapeutic effects, indications, pharmacokinetics if that class.
2. Choose one representative drug from the above class. Discuss the following: adult and pediatric dosages, modes of administration, adverse effects, contraindications and precautions including pregnancy considerations, interactions (with drugs and foods), new/additional information from journal research.
3. The paper will be based on your textbooks and a minimum of four peer-reviewed/scholarly references published within 5 years.
4. Create a one-page patient education/information sheet to educate patients on the representative drug you chose to discuss. The information sheet should be creatively designed to include essential elements of the medication you would want the patients to know and in the language the patients can understand.only one page. Bullet writing is acceptable. It should include what the drug is, why the patient is prescribed the drug, major adverse effects, major drug/drug, drug/food interactions, when the patient should contact the provider.
