1.Create an introduction that defines and differentiates between Grand Theory and Middle Range Theory. Provide a couple examples of each.
2. Choose a specific middle range theory you believe you can incorporate into your practice as a nurse practitioner or Nurse Educator.
3. Define and provide the main concepts of a specific theory. Provide a brief overview of the main components and major concepts of the theory you have chosen,
4. Create a brief case study. For NP students make up a specific patient scenario in which you might apply the theory of your choice. Your theory can be a grand, middle range, or educational type. Please note that you are to provide a specific example of a theory and do not generalize by using, “middle range theory” for example. There are many middle range theories to chose from. Do not use practice theory for this assignment.
5. APA formatting and style is required using concepts of scientific writing. A title page is required. Organize your paper with headings. This paper should be no longer than two to three double line spaced pages, not including the title page and the reference page.
