Reading & Writing Mini Lesson Objectives
* Apply teaching and assessment strategies to plan for instruction and assessment in English Language Arts (ELA).
* Properly align standards, objectives, activities, and assessments to construct both a well-designed ELA Reading Mini Lesson and a well-designed ELA Writing Mini Lesson.
* Analyze your teaching and assessment strategies to identify the academic language demands and construct language supports to enable all students to successfully engage in the learning opportunities your lesson offers.
* Design adaptations and modifications for differentiated instruction, so all children can participate and learn during your mini lessons.
* Demonstrate the ability to use academic language, write, and communicate with the sophistication required for graduate work in Education.
