Experimental 1. Identify a health behavior intervention that could be tested in a population using an experimental study design that randomly assigns some participants to active intervention and the remainder to a control group. What intervention would you use? What control would you use? What would be a favorable outcome for those assigned to the intervention group? What measures would indicate a positive outcome in the study population as a whole?
Also, discuss any ethical concerns that may be raised about your study and discuss steps you would take to keep the volunteers safe and healthy.
Qualitative: 2. What is a health attitude or perception you would like to better understand in your community? What approaches might you use to to design a qualitative analysis of this attitude or perception?
Evaluation: 3. What tools are available for evaluating programs? Which one might you choose for a study done on the health attitude or perception you mentioned in question #2?
