The company policy is that no single inventory product should have more than 300,000 items in stock. The company has a total of 4,175 different products in inventory. The report provided is based on following set of data Week 2 Inventory-Database (4).xlsx
The report was generate to show those products that had more than 300,000 items in stock in compliance with company policy to avoid inventory fraud.
Discuss your observations about the possible risk of fraud related to the way the data is displayed in this report provided and the materiality of the exception(s) to the policy you found. In other words, is the report run by the client appropriate based on the data set to uncover possible inventory fraud? Run at least 2 other tests on the data to show any trends, etc. related to the client’s inventory? Be sure you identify why you ran the reports and how you ran the reports in the software of your choice–upload a copy of the reports.
