The purpose of this study is to conduct a content analysis of existing literature on workplace incivility to provide an in-depth discussion of the effects of incivility in the workplace and themes, gaps, and contradictions in the literature. Through critical review, this study aims to discover the moral, ethical, and legal consequences of incivility. The researcher will review short-term and long-term effects, the associated ethical breaches, various dangers, and hindrances, and discuss the importance of creating a healthy workplace environment and organizational culture.

1. What are the most common factors or themes found in the body of organizational behavioral research that contribute to incivility in the workplace?
2. What conclusions are reached in this body of research on the effects of incivility, and how do various forms of employee incivility contribute to a toxic work environment?
3. What measures have organizations taken to ensure that the workforce personnel exhibit higher levels of professionalism to reduce incivility in the workplace?
