For this assignment, you will develop a poster from evidence-based practice guidelines on one complex care topic of your choice. Refer to the Course Schedule for the due date. Follow the directions below.
1. Watch the Review of EBP and Poster Development Directions for the EBP Project Video
2. Sign up for an complex care topic at this link. (Stoke)
3. Develop an online/virtual poster with a voice-over/audio (record an overview of your topic in the ppt) or a prezi with voice-over/audio on your topic using this template ( trifold poster trifold poster – Alternative Formats ). See the example poster for further guidance:

5. The poster must conform to the format below:
Title: poster title
Background: Briefly describe the background of the clinical/healthcare topic.
Significance: Briefly describe the significance of the clinical/healthcare topic.
Develops/Methods: Select three to five articles from the last five years from peer-reviewed articles and other sources that meet the requirement as evidence-based practice (see Review of EBP video).
Summarize the recommendations from the articles by paraphrasing the outcomes listed in the articles.
Important: Only one direct quote of 100 words or less will be allowed on the poster. Violation of this guideline will result in a zero grade for this assignment. The quote must add relevance to the poster.
Recommendations: List at least five recommendations from the clinical practice guideline. Use bullet points.
Include in-text citations at the end of your paraphrased summaries and bullet points on the poster (see example poster for format).
Discussion: State how these recommendations can optimize patient care.
Reference: Cite the APA-formatted references at the bottom of the poster or you can post these with the poster.
Minimum of three sources:
References must be from the last five years. (2018-2022)
If a website is used it may not be Mayo Clinic or Web MD.
Website resources that are not peer-reviewed are not scholarly.
No more than one direct quote per paper. Paraphrase the information to demonstrate your takeaway points from the reading.
