fter having reviewed material from the course, complete the following in a paper that follows the standard APA format. Proofread and make sure your work is well developed, answers the questions specifically, and strong grammar is present throughout all of your work.
Choose at least 3 new, different pieces of Hebrew (OT) scripture that appear to have similarities or common story or ideas present from those in the Near Eastern text. Provide the passages from each to begin your comparison. Explain their meaning in the context as best you can. After providing a bit of explanation for each item, provide a reflection on why you think there are such strong similarities between the Hebrew and other accounts of life in the Near East. Likewise, what do the differences between ANE literature and the OT communicate theologically? How do the authors of the Bible want the reader to envision Yahweh differently than other gods of the ANE?

In a new section of the paper, what are at least three major theological themes you see in the Old Testament? Give examples to support your observation and why you think these themes might be so important to one’s understanding of the OT.
Name at least three (minimum) things you learned from the texts, videos, and reflections you have undertaken in this course. Make sure you explain to me what you are taking away and how it may help you in your understanding of the Old Testament.
References are required. Proofread before turning in. You got this!
Your paper needs to be formatted per APA guidelines, especially proofreading, double spacing of text, provision of a quick introduction and conclusion, and citations for any and all quoted material. A cover page is expected but an abstract is not. Paper should be 2-3 pages at least but those page counts do not include a cover page or reference page.
