The literature review is comprised of background information related to your research question. As you review the literature and depending on your question, you will have the opportunity to 1) critically evaluate contributions from fellow professionals within your fields and 2) express your thoughts on an issue. As part of that work, you can use the steps below to refine your research question, scope, and keywords/subject headings to find appropriate sources.

Step 2: In your post:
What is your refined research question (open-ended)?
What is your hypothesis?
What is your null hypothesis?
Identify at least 6 keywords or MeSH for your literature review.
It would be wonderful to find similar studies that you could model. That is a plus, by the way.
Describe what methodology (how would you conduct the study and explain why you selected it).
Include in this discussion who your study group(s) would be. For example, gender, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, level of education, access to insurance, state of health/comorbidity/specific disease, economics, access to healthcare, housing situation, ability/disability, or geographic location (rural/urban/Florida/New England, etc.), profession, type of facility, or other consideration.
