The topic of the paper is posing a question and finding answers to it. The question is, how does standardized testing affect a student’s writing ability? Research 8-10 scholarly articles written within the past ten years and quote them in the paper. Most importantly, this is not a typical research paper. I don’t want the writer to just present their facts and findings. I would like the writer to narrate their investigation of their findings, and the meaning they make of it and how it applies to being a teacher. The paper should include reflective, metacognitive commentary about the writer’s research process and their evolution of thinking throughout. Use first-person language to talk about your findings.
