Description:
Laid off employees, college graduates, and mid-career individuals are starting small businesses of their own. The strategic-management process is just as vital for small start-ups as it is for larger organizations. From their inception, all organizations have a strategy, even if the strategy just evolves from day-to-day operations. Even if conducted informally or by a single owner/entrepreneur, the strategic-management process can significantly enhance small organizations growth and profitability. Because an ever-increasing number of individuals in the United States are starting their own businesses, more individuals are becoming strategists.
Create a narrated video presentation, using PowerPoint, that presents your strategic plan for a small business.
Instructions:
1. Choose a small business or idea for a small business (either a full service landscaping business, a home interior cleaning business, or a tutoring service at the elementary/junior high school levels. The writer may choose one of those business ideas to write about). This business could be one you are considering starting or the business of someone you know.
2. Create a narrated video presentation of your strategic plan for this business. The presentation should describe:
Product(s) and/or services of the business
Internal environment
External environment
Competitors (i live near Hill AFB, UT)
Regulatory framework
The strategic management process and strategy that will aid in making this business successful.
Be specific with details on your reasoning and use examples. Within your presentation, reference the learning concepts from this course (see attached as well as at least five (5) outside sources of credible evidence published or updated within the last three years.
Conclude the presentation of your strategic plan with which matrix you would use and why (SWOT, BSG, Grand, etc.).
Requirements:

The presentation should include a title, the content and reference slides.
The recommended length of the narrated video is 15 minutes.
A minimum of five (5) sources of credible evidence published or updated within the past three years is required.
