For this assignment, I want you to choose a single feature film (no series this time) released anywhere between January, 2019 and now. You can’t have written about this film already in any of your discussion board assignments.
(These are the movies I already discussed in class/ did an assignment on. So DON’T choose any of these!)

The assignment is simple: break down the aesthetics of this film. How do the filmmakers use camera, lighting, color, production design, costuming, special effects, editing, and sound to tell the story and convey emotion?
You should research the making of this film. Find interviews with the filmmakers, video essays, articles, etc, and cite these in your paper. Additionally, I want to see your own analysis of why these filmmaking techniques work in service of the film.
This paper should be AT LEAST 5 double-spaced pages, not including the Works Cited page, which is required. I will grade you on the specificity of your examples from the film and research materials and the quality of your personal analysis.
