This paper is to address two agents of change related to Dr. Tabaré Vázquez and Edwin Chadwick.
1. Describe the innovative, public health-related activities that the two agents of social change were (or have been) involved with during their lifetime.
2. Compare and contrast the challenges the social change agents experienced in conducting his or her activities and the strategies each person used to overcome them.
3. discuss and compare the impact the agents of social change had (or have had) on current public health systems.
4. Analyze the importance of and implications of the social change agents’ activities for positive social change.
5. Provide a brief reflection on how one or more achievements of these agents of social change may relate to you personally.
