OVERVIEW
Based on your Comprehensive Exam: Journal Article Proposal Assignment, you are to prepare and submit a publishable article on an approved topic relevant to your dissertation that explores a gap in the literature. This exam must demonstrate that you have a grasp of the literature and an ability to integrate themes developed in your EdD coursework. The exam is to be written in the form of an article and will follow the format, content, and submission requirements below.
INSTRUCTIONS
Before you begin this exam, please read this instructions sheet carefully. All work must conform to these requirements.
Goal:
To develop a journal article on a related topic relevant to your proposed dissertation problem that demonstrates;
1) your grasp of relevant critical issues and a gap in the literature and,
2) the ability to integrate primary theological and theoretical themes drawn from EdD Core Courses.
Format:
You are to format your work as an article
1. You are to compose an article that could be submitted to Fidei et Veritatis, Liberty University’s journal for graduate students. IMPORTANT: You are not to actually submit your article to the Fidei et Veritatis journal.
2. You are to follow the guidelines as described on the journal website.
3. Journal guidelines indicate that the minimum page requirement is 12 pages, single-spaced.
4. You must use APA style.
