Find a media event that you are curious about and find personally interesting. The event can be something is the news, a scene on tv or in a video, or an event discussed in the media. You may use one source displaying or describing the event or multiple sources of information about the same event. Briefly summarize the event you are analyzing. The bulk of your paper should be used to discuss how OB concepts/theories from class can be applied to your chosen event. When providing your analysis, consider the following issues and questions:
1. Which OB concepts/theories are relevant to your chosen event and why? You should define key terms from OB in your own words in order to provide some context for your reader. It is important not to assume your reader knows exactly what you mean when you discuss specific OB ideas/terms.
2. Explain how the OB concepts/theories help us understand the event in greater depth. Use specific instances or ideas from the sources to provide evidence that the OB concept matches what is happening.
3. If you were in charge of coming up with a solution or improving the outcome(s) related to your chosen story, what steps would you take or recommend based on OB research?
