Consider the company Boeing and their recent quality issues, and identify one element of the business that you deem to be in need of process improvement. Once identified, complete the following steps resulting in a quality audit plan:
Refer to Dr. Demings audit cycle and Follow the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) process; provide answers to the questions in the Plan phase of the development of the audit (Who, What, Where, When, Why, How).
Do: Based upon your responses to the questions in the Plan phase of audit development, describe in detail what you will audit, and how you will carry out the audit.
Study: Since an audit will not actually be carried out, describe what findings you are likely to encounter based upon what issues the company or the media has recently reported regarding quality performance deficiencies.
Act: Provide an action plan for improving the deficient quality processes you determined were likely to be identified in the Do and Study phases of the audit.
