Discussion topic: After reading(p. 224-229 from the below textbook)about Kohlberg’s Theory of Moral Development, and watching Betty Hart’s Ted Talk (as an example that I suggest shows moral leadership) please consider the following question: what is your reaction to Ms. Hart’s talk(below link of Ted Talk in Youtube) and message, and would her talk mean something different to you when you were a younger version of yourself?

Discussion post: I agree with Betty that we must exercise as compassion. Life is constantly evolving. New discoveries are made that have the ability to change our beliefs. I think that the only way to be heard and develop understanding is through willingness to suffer with people. However, it should be noted that this does not mean that abuse should be occurring. You can suffer with someone, while maintaining healthy boundaries. I think in my younger years, I may not have had as many opinions that would lead to cancel culture. I also dont think I had the emotional maturity to empathize yet.
