-) Your paper must demonstrate thorough familiarity with 1) the issue you have chosen, 2) how do you plan to take this issue to the public square, and 3) the diverse positions of various stakeholders. This shall involve demonstrating a working knowledge of alternative proposals along with their supporting rationale.
-) Examples include: you may want to analyze the empirical support for Agnews general strain theory as it relates to juvenile delinquency problems in the greater Atlanta area. Or you may wish to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the labeling theory regarding the impact on high school dropouts.
-) Sample topics include: Developmental Views of Delinquency, Gangs and Delinquency, Social and Developmental Perspectives,Police and Juvenile Justice, and Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice.
-) Include a bibliography of all sources used, whether cited or not. All bibliographic entries must be complete and consistent in the current APA format. Your reference page should be not less than five (5) resources. Your resources cannot be more than five (5) years old!
