Cases 2,6353 week 5: You will prepare a two-page (maximum) brief personal case paper that describes a situation or challenge you have faced in relationship to the frame we are studying in Human Resources. The first page will describe the situation; the second page will address the following questions: • What made this case a Human Resources case? Be sure to draw a connection between your case and the material in the textbook, citing from the textbook as appropriate. • What could have improved the outcome or results in the scenario? • Do one of the following: (1) Apply one of the other frames to this situation. What do you see that you didn’t see through the original frame? (2) Describe how an understanding of the frame helps you (or would have helped you) understand the situation in a new way. REMEMBER: The Frames are a tool that you use to analyze a situation. It is not that a particular situation used the frame; you are using the frame to analyze the situation. In other words, you are not saying, “this situation should have used the human resources frame, rather than the structural frame.”
