After having reviewed the lecture notes on “Product/Brand Placement” (on Moodle) and the recommended readings on the topic, select a recent example [from this year i.e., 2022] of brand placement from a film, TV series, a talk-show, a video game, etc. (local or international). Please provide a critical analysis of this example of placement. Your example could be that of either successful or unsuccessful placement. In your analysis, you need to consider a target audience and a strategic intent for this placement, as well as perhaps possible effects, advantages & disadvantages of placement for the brand, etc. Also, you might wish to consider the assumptions that brand managers/producers make about the context of brand placement and the intended audience (values, interests, etc.). These are simply suggestions. You are welcome to find your own ways of unpacking if/how the brand placement works in the example you have selected. In doing so, please refer to the relevant concepts and notions from the lecture sessions and readings (and remember to reference any sources that you use in your analysis. Please provide a short video clip with your example and type your brief analysis with 1.5 line spacing and 12 size-font. All material should be properly referenced according to the Harvard system of referencing. Assessment criteria: 1.
