Remember, SMART goals are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound. Accordingly, be sure that each goal addresses each element of the SMART goal, including a timeline for achievement.

Your five (5) year Personal Development Plan should be written in narrative style in APA format, citing sources in-text and in the Reference Section. Your Draft Plan should have these components:

Include complete descriptions for each SMART Goal (SMART Goal #1 SMART Goal #4, or more)
For each SMART goal, include a description of all of the SMART elements of the goal in detail, and support each SMART goal in your Plan with at least two (2) time-bound Objective steps toward achievement of the SMART goal.
Be sure that each SMART goal you include in your Plan is realistic and that you can make a commitment to it.
Include a schedule for regular review and, if necessary, revision or updating of your Plan.
