II. Compare and Contrast these two competitors speeches. Your evaluations should be based upon the following criteria:
Verbal and Nonverbal Communication (questions to consider could include: was the speaker professional in his/her verbal and nonverbal communication choices? Was the speaker’s tone appropriate? Were the gestures and movements of the speaker consistent with his/her verbal content? Was the speakers’ diction appropriate and easy to follow?)
Speech structure (questions to consider would be: was the speech easy to follow? Could you hear the speaker’s structure—that is, was it easy to hear when the speaker was in transition between points in the speech?)
Speech Content (questions to consider would include: who had better examples and points? Did either/both speakers use examples to entertain, make you think, challenge the audience?)
If these two speakers were competing against one another, who would you vote as the best, and why?
