Please consider one of the major social movements of the twentieth century. Feel free to include a global or local social movement. Conduct research. Analyze the movement in a two page paper discussing the different levels of social movements such as local, state, national and global and stages, preliminary stage, coalescence stage, institutionalization stage and the decline stage.
Please include the following:
• How and why did this social movement form?
• What was the social change they were seeking?
• How did they organize and communicate their cause?
• What achievements or set-backs did they have? Why do you think that is?
• How effective are social movements at achieving social change?
• Include a research or newspaper article about the movement as a hyperlink in your reflection so I can review it.
