M2 Retention Blog
Imagine you are the director of a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training program. You have looked at your statistics, and your program has a 35% attrition rate for the past three academic years.
Write a short email proposal to the Dean of the College of Health Sciences with three suggested strategies/initiatives you would like to implement to improve retention. Additionally, because these initiatives likely come at an added cost (financial and/or staff resources), be sure to justify why improving student retention in this program should be a priority for the College of Health Sciences.
