1. One of the primary tenets of population health management is the need for national standards of care for patients with chronic diseases. Based on this concept of standardized care, discuss the issue of having a standardized national certification and licensing system for all health care professionals. What would be the strengths of the program, and what would be the barriers for implementation? Do you see this as feasible for nursing within the next 10 years? Why or why not.
