4. What is Marxs theory of history? In other words, how is it used to explain the rise and fall of feudalism, the rise of capitalism, then socialism and the final stage of communism?
5. What has been your image of Marx or Marxism (socialism)? Is it safe to say that Marx has remained kind of the boogie man in American society? Do the failures of socialist states, such as Cuba, Venezuela and Soviet Union invalidate Marxism or have these states merely distorted Marxism for their own political gain?
