Sometimes academicians with advanced degrees are considered aloof and out of touch with reality. Others demonstrate such a marked level of leadership and problem-solving regarding important issues that they are hailed as heroes and inspire others to follow their academic paths.
In this assignment, you will reflect on the decisions you have made, tasks you have created, activities you have completed, and knowledge you have gained in your doctoral/dissertation journey thus far and how they have impacted your development as a leader.
Step 1. Review
Review the Journey Map you created for the Module 2 assignment. What leadership opportunities have you encountered along the way? How did you capitalize on those opportunities to demonstrate leadership?
Step 2. Consider
Consider all the writing you have done in this course. Incorporate ideas from the writing in this leadership paper, including what you wrote in Modules 3 and 4.
Step 3. Compose
Compose a 5-page reflection paper (not including the title or references pages) on how you have grown as a leader thus far in your doctoral/dissertation journey.
