Explain how you have used research-informed practice in the advanced practicum (my internship is with a private practice for mental health therapy so maybe just make up something about how I’ve used research to further my knowledge about working with specific clients. Or maybe even research done to learn and help a client through a certain situation) and final assignment (This is our final paper I am writing on Advanced social issues and the issue I chose is homelessness. So maybe make up something about the research I might have done in working with this at-risk population.) Be specific and share research sources you have used in your practicum and final paper (for example, the use of studies on social learning theory to understand the impact of family morals on a young male client’s decision to not complete high school).
