Our primary texts will be the student’s choice of EITHER Frances Pohl’s Framing America: A Social History of American Art (ISBN 978-0500287156) OR Wayne Craven’s American Art: History and Culture (ISBN 978-0072823295). As well, students will use Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States (ISBN 978-0060838652).
