Write a 700-850-word essay that argues whether Camus establishes Meursault as a figure that the audience should admire, loathe, or ignore. In doing so, explain Meursaults relationship to the Absurd and/or Existentialism (see chapter five for discussion of this concept). Use at least two outside sources other than the textbook to discuss the Absurd and/or Existentialism, and apply the concepts throughout your interpretation of the novel.
Make sure to have an introduction, body, and conclusion. Additionally, please support your general ideas with analysis of specific quotations from the novel. Be sure to examine scenes from throughout the novel as well.
