Project Goal: Your goal is to choose one change/solution that your team will focus on and to develop the members of the committee in critical and strategic thinking, use evidence-based practice, and ensure the success of the project. Assignment Instructions: Part III: Project Management PlanA project management plan is a formal document that defines how a project is going to be carried out. It outlines the scope, goals, budget, timeline, course of action, and deliverables of a project. You will use your project charter document developed in week 5 and any instructor feedback from your charter as the basis for composing your group project management plan. Your group project management plan should include all supporting details and accompanying tables/graphics for the sections outlined below and in the project plan template. 1. Preparing and Coordinating Plans: Actions needed to define, prepare and coordinate plans including sources of information 2. Project Inputs and Outputs: Project requirements including at least 3 inputs and outputs (5) 3. Project Scope: Includes the scope of work needed to finish a project including these criteria: o inclusions and exclusions o project timeline o resources 4. Work Breakdown Structure: Illustrate everything this project needs to accomplish, organized into at least 10 levels or sequenced steps, and displayed graphically. Develop a table or graphic to illustrate the tasks, sequence, dependencies, responsible parties, and resources. 5. Project Budget: Include high level resources, time needed, cost per unit of time, and total cost 6. Project Schedule: Develop a high-level view of project tasks and milestones using a Gantt chart that can be presented to stakeholders and leaders. Refer to learning activities for Gantt chart tutorials and templates. 7. Stakeholder Management Plan: detail the project’s activities related to engaging stakeholders and making the most effective use of their participation. Develop a table or graphic to illustrate the project role, responsibilities, required skills, reporting relationships, and staffing management plan for each of the 5 identified stakeholders. Communication Management Plan: Develop a plan for how team and stakeholder communication will be handled over the course of the project including each stakeholder, information needed, and communication approach for each of the 5 identified stakeholders. 8. Risk and Issue Management Plan: Compose a list of factors that could derail the project and a plan for how issues will be identified, addressed, and controlled. Identify project risks (at least 3) and present a risk response and mitigation plan for all identified risks. 9. Evaluation plan: a. How will project success be measured for each of the 3 identified outcomes? (should align with charter) b. How will project success be presented? c. Who will project completion report be presented to? Project Ownership Handoff plan: d. Who will take on ownership of this new process? e. How will handoff occur? f. What materials and resources will new owner need? g. Considerations for ongoing effectiveness measurements and data collection. h.
