PROMPT: Describe, compare and contrast two political economic theories we studied this quarter (mercantilism, classical liberalism, Keynesianism, neoliberalism, democratic socialism, communism, fascism), and argue why you believe one of the two you compare is better to deal with our current global political economic challenges.
The essays must be between 4 and 6 pages, 12-point Times New Roman font, double-spaced, 1 inch margins. References can be placed in an additional page. You should make reference to at least two key readings from our course and two additional texts of your choice. It is expected that each short essay will be structured in about five or six full paragraphs: a first paragraph that summarizes your topic and argument, three or four paragraphs where you develop your argument, and a concluding paragraph where you emphasize you own critical thinking and creative engagement with the question. Make sure to explicitly utilize the relevant concepts, theories, and ideas from the course, and also make sure to develop your own argument.
