Organizational Intervention
a. Choose a real organization in which you identify a communicative need (e.g., improved teamwork, provider-patient communication, technology implementation, etc.) and develop a written program of training or intervention to improve communication in that organization. Interventions may include the adoption of a policy for communicating protocol or policies to people in a hospital or health organization (e.g., a new website or a newsletter or an email delivery system or a Wiki, etc.).
b. Create a plan for helping to improve the communicative performance of your chosen healthcare organization.
c. Use theory and research to explain the rationale behind your intervention and predict how/why the intervention will be successful.
d. Generate a plan for assessing the success of the intervention.
