Please note, my topic is reluctance in getting children vaccinated by parents can lead to decreased vaccination rates, as well as a global prevalence of communicable diseases. The population of interest is parents and how lack of education on the benefits of vaccination leads to their reluctance in getting their children vaccinated. The recommended intervention to increase childhood vaccination rates is the provision of parental education. Parental education will raise awareness of the need or importance of having children vaccinated to change parental attitude, and behavior and increase their willingness to get their children vaccinated.
