The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regularly publishes the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System (YRBS), which surveys various risk behaviors, such as sexual behaviors, alcohol and drug use, tobacco use, dietary behaviors, physical inactivity, etc. The YRBS is conducted every two years with students in grades nine through 12 at high schools across the country. It provides the most current information about adolescent behaviors across various demographic categories and in different states.
