For this Project you will read and reference the document Mental Health and Our Changing Climate: Impacts, Implications, and Guidance, an article, Eight Ways That Climate Change Hurts Humans, and your text, Lifespan Development.
Here are three categories for analysis. You must complete the Overview section. Then select either Impacts or Solutions to complete the assignment.
Overview: Present an overview of the climate crisis. Include a basic descriiption of the problem and factors that limit our comprehension of climate change (e.g. scale of problem, denial). Describe your own challenges with comprehension of the crisis.
Impacts:Describe climate crisis impacts including on individuals and communities especially inequities. Make explicit references to Lifespan Development and at least one vulnerable group (e.g., older adults, women, children, the economically disadvantaged).
Solutions: Address solutions including building resilience and
support to individuals and communities as well as reducing your own carbon footprint with strategies like using public transportation and less air travel. Conclude by discussing your own plan ( to deal with the crisis now and through your lifespan.
