Select one domain of leisure covered in the scheduled reading for weeks 9 and 10 and apply the critiques of contemporary work culture outlined in the readings for week 7 and 8 to that domain, thereby offering a critical evaluation. In addition to the prescribed readings, you should draw from two further peer-reviewed articles that are relevant to your chosen topic. Be sure to provide multiple direct quotes from each textual source in support of your argument.
Grading criteria: This paper will be graded on the following: a) accurate analysis of the relevant class texts from weeks 7-10 (15pts); b) ability to differentiate positions and to set out competing evidence for them in a balanced manner (10pts); c) making connections beyond points explicitly made by the texts studied (5pts).
