Document Commentaries (2022) Please comment on your choice of only six of the twelve extracts below. Write approximately 500-600 words on each of the six extracts that you choose. There is no particular significance in the shortness or length of any of these extracts. You should consider and where appropriate discuss:
• the context in the original source from which the extract comes
• the argument, point, or theme that it illustrates
• the historical or theological arguments that may have arisen over that point, either at the time when it was written or in subsequent historical thought
• any interconnections, contrasts, or comparisons between the extract and other discussions of the point in source texts or literature that you have read (this last part is important: please treat the text not only by itself but as part of a texture of debates and analyses)
