Write a 1000–1500-word essay (not including citations) on whether or not Dudley and Stephens committed murder.
For the sake of the paper, I will allow you to choose the court you wish to make your argument in as establishing “sanity” and “intent” is relative. (You must choose a court that recognizes the insanity defense). As such, you will need to do some independent research (and therefore a bibliography, citation style does not matter as long as it is consistent).
I implore you to draw on some of the course or strategies to make your case and or to deal with counter objections. On that note, you should give a substantial treatment of what you take to be the strongest counter objection/counter objections to your argument. How do you imagine your opponent would responds to your argument?
