3. African art ranges from naturalistic or life-like to stylistic or abstract. Choose examples of both naturalistic art and highly stylized art to compare and contrast.
4. Describe the colonization of Africa in the early 20th century. What conflicts have emerged in the colonization of Africa by European powers? Describe how this has influenced art and culture in contemporary Africa.
