For our last Literature Study you will read the book, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, and then explore online resources to learn more about the author and his ideas behind the text. When we get to know an author’s intentions, interests, and goals for a book, that can help us ‘see’ the text in new ways.

Conduct an analysis of at least two professional reviews of the book from the web.
Locate and review at least one interview with the author about the writing of the book.
