Albanese discusses the ethics of punishment this week. Ones approach to punishment & corrections suggests a lot about how one views the nature of crime (think back to criminology) and the possibility of a person changing. Bradley, in his discussion of mass incarceration, suggests that our view of punishment is related to our view of human worth and dignity.
