Considering these ideals as Africa’s traditional literary values, determine the nature of the retention or loss of these ideals/values in the continuance of the continent’s literary and cultural traditions. Analyze The Husia, Amadiume, Kenyatta (as ancient and traditional sources), and Sundiata, selections from traditional African folklore in BB, Fela, Rita Marley, and/or Abbey Lincoln (as texts representing retention or loss from African “tradition.”)
