Scenario:
As part of your work with local radio stations, the station managers have asked if Golden Pets would provide public service announcement scripts to help them respond to recent incidents of dogs getting overheated in cars. Of course, you say Yes and start writing.
Your submission will contain the script for three versions of the same public service announcement — 15-second, 30-second and 60-second spots. You won’t have time to record or produce the PSA so use the Announcer Continuity / Reader format, such as the example on page 207. You can use statistics and other information on the subject, such as these from the American Veterinary Medical Association (Links to an external site.) or the American Kennel Club (Links to an external site.).
Your submission must follow the guidance for writing public service announcements in section 3J of the textbook, including the format examples. Grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors will detract from your grade for this assignment.
