Disease Lab Report Format (One report per student)
Worth 100 points
Typed, single spaced paper, double space between paragraphs.
Make sure to reformat Microsoft Word defaults for single spacing.

One inch margins. Minimum three (3) FULL pages (not 2 and 3/4).
This does not include the cover sheet or bibliography pages or photos.
Choose disease relevant to the current semester’s 2401 system material and one that you are interested in researching for this paper.
Topic MUST be approved by the instructor.
Topics will be chosen no later than the 8th week of school.
Submit your top three topics via email. If a topic is to narrow, you will be asked to broaden or add subject matter.
Any changes to the topic must be completed and cleared by the 8th week of school with the instructor.
Failure to select a topic or change a topic without permission will result in a 25% reduction in the overall grade.
You must have at least three (3) references outside of your textbooks.
You may have more than three, but cite ALL references.

One reference must be from a reputable (i.e. medical school) Internet site.
Note: Web MD is fine for the introduction, BUT the information is to general for specific content. It may be included in the list of bibliography references, BUT this resource is NOT considered to be a part of the three detailed MEDICAL peer reviewed references that are required.
