Assignment Instructions:
Produce an analysis and evaluation on the role of budgeting and leadership in public administration, and at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Assignment Requirements:
An explanation and evaluation of the main theoretical approaches to budgeting that have been utilized by public administrators in the United States.
Identification and summary of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s budget creation process.
An evaluation of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s budgetary priorities, including how they are established and justified.
An overview of the roles leaders and other stakeholders play in crafting the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s budget.
An evaluation of the increasing national debt and/or underfunded state public pensions as potential crises in the public sector.
The purpose of the Budgeting Assignment is to allow you to answer the question “what is budgeting” in the field of public administration through analysis of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
